The Cycling Systems Philosophy

I train one-on-one. There is no gold, silver or bronze when you work with Cycling Systems. Each program I design is for the individual and is geared to achieve your desired result.

The Cycling Systems values that inspire our work together are to:

  • Advance your fitness levels through properly applied training stresses.
  • Assist you with the skills and mental preparation that are a necessary part of reaching your goals.
  • Measure and inform you on your progress.
  • Guide you to your maximum fitness potential.


None of the science behind successful training is a secret. I teach sound training principles so you understand the "why'" in the portions of your training that seem unreasonable or unnecessary. Each training program is based on extensive start-up questionnaires and performance testing. These help to establish a benchmark, a starting point that can be revisited to measure progress towards your specific goals.

Whatever your cycling interest, I will work with you. I train competitive athletes for short—or long—term goals, recreational cyclists wishing to increase performance and general fitness enthusiasts.
